Our Managing Director Dr Kevin Lin has been the Lead Interpreter (Chinese) of the British Government since the mid 1990s. In that capacity, he has been working at the highest level between the UK and China whether it be for bi-lateral talks or corporate visits. His expertise in interpreting at high profile events and translation for mission critical documents is shared by our entire team. It makes us unique.

We have the largest team of Chinese specialists in Europe. They are our full-time staff, not freelancers brought together when there is a project. They are qualified to MA in Translation/Interpreting and above. They join initially as trainees after passing a tough selection process. They then need to pass three reviews to complete a 12 month development programme. Only those that survive, most don't, will become full-time staff, after which they will have their performance assessed every six months.

We also have the largest and most comprehensive interpreter/translator training programme (English/Chinese) of any company in the UK. Our interpreter training covers the full spectrum of client requirements from consecutive to simultaneous, from high profile events to corporate workshops, from ministerial-level visits to PowerPoint presentations. Translator training ranges from definitive rendition to speedy turnaround, from creative handling to complicated formatting. In addition, there is client service training. One thing we train all our team to do is to explain issues in Chinese to clients that don't speak Chinese.
